This was the 'luxury' version of the Mini 1000.
It differed by having:

- seats in velor cloth with leatherette side panels
- wooden steering wheel and gear knob
- central console wood look-alike
- windscreen defroster
- wheels that recalled the fuel cap's design
- floor mounted accelerator pedal

The mechanics were kept those of the 1000, ie 998cc engine with 55bhp, 145km/h. The only change was the substitution of the dynamo with an alternator.
